Gator`s Dockside in Lake Mary

My girlfriend and I have visited this location several times over the past year and it seems to be the quality of the drinks has been severely declining. Our latest visit ended with us consuming 5 doubles each, mind you she weighs in at a meager 105lbs, and we left feeling as if we had each only had 1 drink. Neither of us minded the bill as we expected to pay for what we ordered but we certainly didn’t expect to consume what would put a grown man on their a$$ and leave sober as a church mouse. Our waitress was the only positive note as she did frequently check in with us on an abnormally busy night. I doubt we will be returning any time soon.

I think it's an amazing place to eat.... Their kitchen blows my mind 😊 and is very affordable.

I love this place even though I from Chicago but once I return to Florida this restaurant is the first place I go

Updated: Ordered a pick up. Got home to find out only half the order was full filled. Went back to follow up. The hostess gave me such an attitude, going to back to find out the half the order was still back in the kitchen. No apologizes no nothing. Just ‘here you go’. Hostess was more interested in flirty with what looked like her boyfriend sitting at the waiting area and eating. Unprofessional and unpleasing. Caution: Go somewhere else for pick up.

Love this place great place to eat. Also my sister works there her name is annie she is a great waitress. But she only works on friday. This place is in lake mary. Food was really good.

I'm not a fan of sports bars, but went with a friend who is, and it was surprisingly pleasant. Less loud than the Mexican restaurant next door. Food was really good and it's nice to see they've added several vegetarian options, including the Beyond burger and the cauliflower wings pictured which were great.

The wings are the best the service needs help

This place was one of the only spots open during preparation for hurricane Dorian so we decided to try it for the first time. Our waiter was an older woman (wish I could remember her name). She was the most friendly, helpful, and cheerful server we’ve had in quite sometime ANYWHERE. Her service and attentiveness was a breathe of fresh air! We will be returning not only for the food, but because of the impression this wonderful lady left on my husband and I!

We enjoy Gator's for a number of reasons. It is kept well cleaned and the tables are not on top of each other. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. They have good price points on food and drinks. And most importantly the food is great and the portions spot on. We love the wings!

Love the gated outside seating. Great place for kids to be and play not a lot of people out there good shade in the summer and heated in the winter with pull down sides to keep weather out. Food is also great. Small alcohol selection. An has games for kids as well on the inside.

We came in at 11:00pm, and they close at (supposedly) 12am, even though it says 1am on their website. Regardless, we came in an hour before closing time, and when we sat down, our server came over and asked what we wanted to drink - very abrupt, didn’t even say hello. I was also told that I couldn’t get a refill on my drink because our server wanted to close down the drink station (after already ordering and receiving my drink). Throughout our entire experience, our server kept staring at us to see when we would finish our food - he seemed like all he wanted to do was get us out of there as fast as he could. And he seemed annoyed that we even came in. Mind you, again, we came in an hour before close. Very disappointed in the service, and food was, at best, mediocre.

My friend Josh and I had Monday wing night and had a great time. Great service.

My friends and I were excited about eating here after our 3 hr drive to the area. We arrived at 9:30 pm on a Saturday, and they didn’t close until 1 am. Our server, K*ttie, made us feel like we were imposing on her. There weren’t many people in the restaurant, but it took about 40 minutes for us to get our food. She never checked on us before our food came, or after. We had to ask the food runners to get us things we needed. It was not a great experience, and we do not plan on returning if we ever are back in the area.

Wings were average, definitely nothing to write home about. I got an order of fries as well and when I got home I counted 9 French fries

Gyros were good, service great and beer cold!!!

I guess the world's idea of jerk chicken is wrong but gators is right. I am from the islands and that was not a jerk flavor. It was sweet and barely spicey like homey.Warn us when your take on something is different than what is traditional.

I’ve been coming here since I was in high school! I even worked here as a hostess at one point as a teen. This is a really great sport bar- with delicious food. I’m obsessed with their ranch dressing here. They have made a lot of renovations throughout the years. I encourage every one to support local businesses like this small orlando chain.

Love the food and the atmosphere. The appetizers are delicious! Definitely recommend the big pretzel!

Great food and drink. Fish tacos and spinach artichoke dip are very tasty. Gunny loves the French fries alot!

First time to this location but as always the food was solid as expected. They had a small wait but it was all you can eat boneless wing night. Celebrated my birthday at this location and recommend it and will be back if in the area.

Excellent wings and sauces. Staff needs a little bit of training and must have a neat presentation. Little bit noisy, but the food is so good, that I give a 5 stars review.

The wait staff and hostess were very pleasant. The wings were Meh. 5 star for the waitress and hostess, 3 star for food.

Great service, the wings are always on point, and the prices can't be beat. It's worth a visit, or twenty.

The best wings in town, and maybe even the county! Their all you can eat bone-in wings on Monday nights are to die for! Their service on these nights is top notch. On a regular night or slow time though, be prepared to spend a long time waiting... For anything; drinks, appetizers, refills, main course, check, and card pickup, and finally the signature. The food is, as always, awesome. But my wife and I spent almost two hours in there for a dinner.

Great food, awesome Thai peanut sauce for their wings. No wait, relatively quiet. We were going to go to Don Julios across the lot, but this was better than waiting for seats there. No regrets whatsoever, seriously you gotta try the new wing sauce, it's really that great! Oh, and their totchos were absolutely delicious!

So love this place. Good food, never need reservations. Great drink specials. Decent pricing. Outdoor seating available. Great place to kick back and relax!

Dinner was really good for a chain except gator tail., That was at best a gimmick. Olivia was a great server. Prices were on par with most chains

Food was great, although not all of the food made it out to the table at the same time. I had medium chicken wings, they were crispy and well seasoned. Blue cheese was good and fries were hot and delicious. My sweetie ordered the portobello burger; he said it was yummy, and he liked the coleslaw. His daughter had the shrimp po boy and it disappeared in timely fashion. She liked it because she cannot get tasty shrimp where she lives, deep in the middle of the country. A good place to eat, yep

The Scooter wings on all you can eat Mondays is easily the highlight deal of the week for me. Plate after plate of wings were hot and fully sauced. Would recommend again.

I was searching for fish and chips in the area in it pop up in Google maps. It's really good for those who like the Cod fish and traditional fish and chips. The boneless chicken wings is really so good. I would recommend try both in each visit

Always a good experience at this location. I drive all the way from DeLand to eat here since the DeLand Gator's Dockside is trash.

Worst Gator's dockside I have ever been to. Terrible service, super slow, every order was wrong. I understand we make mistakes, but every order.. I repeat....Hands down Worst Gator's Dockside I have ever been too!!!

The food was fantastic. The service not good, had too wait for a soda refill (finished the appetizer before he ever came back).Also, the waiter indicated we could not get a pitcher of domestic beer during Monday football at the posted beer “every day, every hour” price. Pursued this issue with the manager and he indicated he would handle. The price adjustment was appreciated but two points missed—no apologies by waiter or manager, and actually lost value since we did not get as much beer as pitcher would have provided. At a minimum they could have removed the cost of club soda!

I ordered a steak salad for delivery. they sent ground beef. there were also no blue cheese crumbles and little of the other items in the description except lettuce, but the primary offense was switching out steak for ground beef (without any attempt to call me and ask if that'd be okay or if I'd like to change/cancel the order).the wings were good. I had another order delivered from here a couple of weeks ago where similarly everything else was weak except the wings.

Exactly what I was hoping it'd be. Very cool place that doesn't take itself seriously, great food with a great menu and wonderful service. I'll be back for sure next time I'm in Lake Mary! (pic is of the gator tail dinner)

Lovely meal. I had Gator for the first time. Staff was lovely. Lots of TV's. Pretty standard. I would recommend if you're looking for a place to watch the game, and have a beer.

The service of the staff was great. Ordered wings which came out hot. The beer was cold and at a reasonable prices for drafts and bottles alike. Seems like a great place to watch sports as they had televisions along all of walls it seemed. Looks they could host large guest parties but I did not see any party rooms. Nice place to meet up after work for a few and grab a bite.

This place is about as Florida of a wing house as it comes. Great service, tons of TV's, games for kids, and plenty on draft. Try the scooter wings and you won't be sorry.
